Our Sauerkraut is a LIVE product and has to be REFRIGERATED! We use cool keeping bubble wrap with an ice pack to ensure proper delivery. If you bought a jar and it's bubbly or fizzy and lid is bulged, it's OK to eat ! Our products are naturally fermented and we don't pasteurize so living organisms are present.
